''I had the chance to put Leki’s newest Ultratrail FX model to the test at the HK100 this year, and I have to say, the experience was incredibly smooth.
The most impressive upgrade for me was the new locking mechanism. I could click in and out smoothly with just one finger—no looking down required. In a race setting, those little seconds really do add up. The folding and unfolding action is also noticeably smoother; there is zero worry about the poles getting stuck halfway when you need them most.
And, as a woman, I have to give a special shout-out to the new colorway. The blend of red and violet is fierce but still feminine—it's great to see performance gear that looks this good. ''
